A space to be just as you are....

As a little girl, I loved climbing trees just to feel their branches sway in the wind. Nature was one of the first places I remember feeling free.

But as I got older, I started hiding parts of myself to fit in, to be loved, to belong. And over time, that self-abandonment turned into a deep sadness I didn’t know how to name.

From the outside, my life eventually looked adventurous and beautiful. I left my city, lived out of the back of my car, traveled widely, and worked all kinds of outdoor jobs with plants and land. I built a life that looked free.

But inside, something still felt off.

Even in all the adventure I was having, I felt disconnected from myself. Lost in my own desires. Lonely in ways I didn’t know how to explain.

And through all of it, nature remained the one place I could still feel something real.

On long walks outside, I felt seen. Held. Loved, even in the middle of my own inner chaos. Nature didn’t ask me to be different. It didn’t shame me for being tender, messy, or unsure. It simply stayed.

Slowly, I began to stop numbing and start listening.

I started allowing myself to feel what was really there. The sadness. The loneliness. The longing. And the more I let my heart speak, the more life began to open again. I started to experience unexpected moments of joy, wonder, and aliveness. I began to feel that nature was not just scenery, but relationship. Guidance. Medicine.

Eventually, that path led me to herbalism.

What first appeared as curiosity became something much deeper: a way of remembering how to be in relationship with life, with the earth, and with myself.

Rooted Reconnection was born from that journey.

It is for the part of you that feels tender, overwhelmed, disconnected, or far away from yourself. The part that doesn’t need fixing, but softening. The part that longs to step out of the noise and into something slower, truer, and more alive.

This is not about becoming someone new. It’s about returning to the self that was always there.

If you’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself, this work was made for you.

Wishing you all the best,
Sarah

I spent years searching outside myself for purpose, belonging, and the “right” path. What I was really longing for was reconnection- to my heart, to nature, and to my own inner knowing.

A pathway grew from these years of searching, a pathway to the Heart Compass. It's a way of softening, listening, and orienting to your inner nature and the natural world. Now I help women return to themselves in this way.
